25 दिसंबर बुधवार, नई दिल्ली: 25 दिसंबर बुधवार को कांग्रेस सांसद रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला ने लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी और राज्यसभा में मल्लिकारन खड़गे के नेतृत्व में 26 दिसंबर को एक नया सत्याग्रह शुरू करने का आह्वान किया। इसने भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में 26 दिसंबर, 1924 के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।
1924 में, बेलगावी ने कांग्रेस के 39 वें पूर्ण सत्र की मेजबानी की। इसका महत्व इसलिए चिह्नित है क्योंकि यह महात्मा गांधी की देखरेख में आयोजित एकमात्र सत्र था।रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला ने एएनआई से कहा, ”In the history of the country’s independence, 26th December 1924 will always be remembered as a day when the Indian National Congress under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi started a new phase of the freedom struggle to overthrow the British government, to give equal rights to the rich and the poor. Mahatma Gandhi started a new movement of Satyagraha, civil disobedience from this land, against the wealth given to few hands by Britain, England, and the East India Company. After 100 years, once again Congress will unite for a new Satyagraha under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge.”
महात्मा गांधी द्वारा प्रदर्शित सत्याग्रह ने सविनय अवज्ञा और असहयोग को प्रेरित किया। इस आंदोलन का उद्देश्य समुदायों को अन्याय के खिलाफ खड़े होने और हिंसा के बिना परिवर्तन लाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना था। इसके अलावा रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला ने एएनआई से कहा, “The BJP has become a modern-day East India Company, perpetuating inequality and exploiting the vulnerable. The rights of Dalits, Adivasis, backward classes, and the poor are being eroded. The wealth gap has widened, with a staggering 40% of the country’s wealth concentrated in the hands of just 1% of the population. Meanwhile, 62% of the country’s wealth is owned by a mere 2-4% of the people, leaving 70% of the population with less than 5% of the property. This blatant disregard for equality and justice threatens the very fabric of our Constitution and the freedom we fought for”
